OptOutPrescreen.com is a joint venture among Equifax Information Services, LLC, Experian Information Solutions, Inc., Innovis Data Solutions, Inc., and TransUnion, LLC (collectively the "Consumer Credit Reporting Companies").

Consumers' Union -  The non-profit publisher of Consumer Reports provides articles and tips on a variety of subjects including credit & loans, ID theft & financial protection, contracts, insurance, and cards, checks & electronic payments.

Fair Isaac - offers informative credit-information products that help people understand actions they can take to achieve and protect their overall financial health.

Federal Trade Commission's Identity Theft Site - This website is a one-stop national resource to learn about the crime of identity theft. It provides detailed information to help you deter, detect, and defend against identity theft.   On this site, consumers can learn how to avoid identity theft – and learn what to do if their identity is stolen.  Businesses can learn how to help their customers deal with identity theft, as well as how to prevent problems in the first place.

Free Annual Credit Report - This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.  Unlike many of the offers you may see on tv and on the internet, or hear on the radio, this is the only NO COST and COMMITTMENT FREE resource for obtaining your credit reports.

National Do Not Call Registry - The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website.
